Names in the Cult

In the last blog post, a feature of the cult came up that was not pointed out. Cult members are encouraged to adopt cult sobriquets.

The way this works is as follows:

The first syllable of your name gets a suffix appended to it. A female suffix would be -grid or -gred and a male one would be -dren or -drin. There are also neutral suffixes -der or -dir.

Some example names of current cult members are Silgrid, Nangred, Andren, Mardrin and Jødren.

There are exceptions to this rule. We also have cult member Jade and cult member Masha.

Besides the naming convention outlined above, Scandinavian names are encouraged. Feel free to investigate other categories, however. Here is a helpful site to see the options.
