Cult Beliefs

The Cult is not a prescriptive cult. Nothing is prescribed, only encouraged (or sometimes highly encouraged). Because of this, the Cult is adaptable to suit each individual Cult member. If something is a core value, however, it is a assumed that a Cult member would not decide to ignore that particular part of the Cult beliefs.

CORE BELIEFS
  1. Colour is a core value. Colourful surroundings and colourful clothes are highly encouraged and appreciated. Monochromatic patterns or interesting textures may, however, be substituted at times.
  2. Calmness is a core value, but excitement is also very important.
  3. Happiness is encouraged, but not enforced. All feelings should be felt through and never ignored.
  4. Sunlight is important, but shade is good.
SYMBOLS
The primary cult symbol is the sunflower and hence the primary cult colour is yellow. The secondary cult symbol is the nasturtium.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES
In a nutshell, anything involving colour, good food, the sharing of good food and adventure (be it just walking down a new road or even the same road while looking at new things). Some of the official events include picnics and drinking tea (all types).

INAUGURATION CEREMONIES
Attend a picnic after which (if possible) the inauguree plants a sunflower. If the weather is bad and no plot of land is available, the inauguree may just incorporate yellow into his or her life for the day (wear yellow, eat lemon soufflé or something to that effect). The former ceremony is ideal and more encouraged.
